Honour, the big electronics company from China, just brought out their newest thing: the Magic V2, which is the thinnest and lightest phone that folds up. It costs Dh6,899. This new phone weighs 231g and is 9.9 mm thick when it's folded up. Plus, it has five cameras and a big 5000 mAH battery.
Mafeijian, who's the big boss (CEO) of Honour in the Gulf area, thinks this phone is going to do really well. He says the team is sure it's going to beat what people expect, especially for folks who already like folding phones. He says the way it folds up looks just like a regular phone from the outside. The Magic V2, he says, makes folding phones easy and useful.
The phone's got five cameras. Three are on the back, and two are on the front. The back ones are a 50MP ultra-wide camera, a 50MP main camera, and a 20MP telephoto camera. The front ones are both 16MP and can do different kinds of pictures.
The Magic V2 is all about giving you a great experience. It can show over 1.07 billion colors, and it can dim the screen to help your eyes.
You can preorder the phone from February 2 to 8 on their website and other places like Amazon, noon, Etisalat by e&, Jumbo, Emax, Sharaf DG. You can get it in purple, black, or a special black one with a fake leather back.
If you preorder, you can also get free stuff worth Dh4,744. You get an Honour watchGS3, a case for the Magic V2, and VIP Care+. That last one gives you a warranty to replace the screen for 24 months, a longer 30-day return policy, some fancy Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra Headphones, and a warranty for 24 months.
These days, lots of phone companies are using AI to make their phones better. Last July, Honour brought out the 90 5G and Honour 90 Lite 5G in this area. Those phones had lots of AI stuff to make them work better.
Samsung, a big company from South Korea, also just came out with new versions of their S24 phone, which have new AI stuff in them too.
